Russian footballers Aleksandr Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev are all set to get early release.
The group were jailed after being found guilty of hooliganism for assaulting a commerce ministry official and beating a driver in October 2018 up.
Kokorin has been sentenced to 17 months to Mamaev and 18 weeks.
A courtroom at the Belgorod of Russia has ruled that they are eligible for release after a successful appeal.
The penalty for hooliganism is that a maximum penalty of seven years in jail, no matter how the gamers will soon be freed after this month, lawyer Yuri Padalko told Russian news agency TASS.
While Kokorin was a forward at Zenit St Petersburg, mamaev, 30, played Krasnodar; Padalko confirmed they both would return to playing soccer.
Kokorin has been restricted by his country 48 occasions – he overlooked the 2018 World Cup through injury – while Mamaev has 15 caps.
